Terms of service
Version 0.1 (DRAFT), 5 November 2026. This text is a draft. It can change before the service starts for paying customers.
These terms are the agreement between [OPERATOR NAME] ("we", "us") and the business that uses a workspace of Taraazu ("the customer", "you"). The data processing terms and the acceptable use policy are part of these terms.
1. The parties
- We: [OPERATOR NAME], a company registered in Pakistan, registration number [REGISTRATION NUMBER], address [REGISTERED ADDRESS].
- The customer: the business that the workspace is for. The person who accepts these terms must have the authority to accept them for the business.
2. The acceptance
The first administrator of a workspace accepts these terms for the customer. The administrator selects the check box on the invitation page. The system records who accepted, when, and which version. When we publish a new version, the system asks a workspace administrator to accept the new version.
3. The service
Taraazu is an online accounting and business system. We give access to the service through the internet. We can change and improve the functions of the service.
4. Availability and maintenance
- We make a reasonable effort to keep the service available. We do not give a service level agreement (SLA) and we do not give credits for the time when the service is not available.
- We tell you about planned maintenance at least 48 hours before it starts. The system shows a notice in the product.
- Urgent work for security or for a failure can start without notice.
5. Support
- Support is available on working days from 09:00 to 22:00 Pakistan time. Support is not available 24 hours a day.
- To help you or to investigate a problem, our staff can open a support session in your workspace. The privacy notice tells how a support session works.
6. Your data and the backups
- Your business data stays yours. The data processing terms tell how we process it.
- We make backups of the data. After a failure of the infrastructure, we restore the newest backup. The data of up to the last 3 days can be lost.
- Keep your own exports of important records. A workspace administrator can export all the data of the workspace at any time.
7. Fees and payment
- The fees are the fees of your plan on the day of the invoice.
- We send a reminder on the due date and a second reminder 7 days after the due date.
- When an invoice is not paid 14 days after the due date, the workspace becomes read-only. You can see and export the data, but you cannot make changes.
- When an invoice is not paid 60 days after the due date, we can end the service (offboarding, section 10).
8. Changes of prices and of these terms
- We tell you about a change of the prices or of these terms at least 30 days before it starts. We send an e-mail and a notice in the product.
- You can cancel the service before the change starts.
- A change for a legal reason or for security can start immediately.
9. Refunds and cancellation
- We do not give refunds.
- A cancellation by you starts at the end of the paid period.
- When we end the service and you did not cause it, we refund the fees of the months that you paid and did not use.
10. Offboarding, retention and deletion
- At the end of the service, the workspace becomes read-only for a retention window. The default window is 90 days. In this window, you can export your data.
- After the retention window, we delete all the data of the workspace. The backups that contain the data expire up to 30 days later.
- We keep our own invoices to you (your legal name and tax number) for 10 years, because the tax law can require it.
- Before the deletion, we offer you the export of the data. After that, you are responsible to keep the records that the law tells you to keep.
11. Your obligations
- Obey the acceptable use policy.
- Keep the passwords and the second sign-in step of your users secret. You are responsible for the actions of your users.
- Make sure that you have the right to put the personal data of other persons (for example your customers and employees) into the service.
12. Liability
- Our total liability for all claims in a period of 12 months is limited to the fees that you paid in the 12 months before the claim.
- We are not liable for indirect losses, for example lost profit, lost business or lost reputation.
- We are not liable for data that is lost beyond the backup promise in section 6.
- These limits do not apply where the law of Pakistan does not permit them.
13. Claims and disputes
- Make a claim within 12 months of the event that causes it.
- If there is a dispute, both parties first try to solve it by talks in good faith for 30 days.
- If the talks do not solve the dispute, binding arbitration under the Arbitration Act 1940 decides it. There is one arbitrator. The language is English. The seat of the arbitration is Islamabad.
- The law of Pakistan applies to these terms.
14. Language
These terms are available in English and in Urdu. The Urdu text is a translation. If the two texts do not agree, the English text applies.
